If you’re looking for things to do around the Lexington area, there are many things you can decide on. There are many things you can get into locally, but there are also many things you can do within the vicinity of Lexington.
Many people from the Lexington area like to head out onto Long Island for the day as there are many great events and destinations you can do some exploring into. One being the Hamptons. Many people love to enjoy the great beaches out on the East End of Long Island. They have been rated as some of the nicest beaches in the world.
Nicest Beaches In The World
It’s a bit of a drive to get out to the Hamptons from the Lexington area, but you can always take the Long Island Railroad all the way out. It’s a nice straight ride and you get to enjoy some of the scenery that the Island has to offer. Or you could rent yourself a car from a Long Island limo service and take a ride in style out to the end of Long Island.
Not only can you enjoy the beautiful sand and ocean of the Hamptons, there are many other attractions to keep you busy… day or night. Some of the best restaurants that Long Island has to offer are located in the Hamptons area. Doesn’t matter what you’re in the mood for, you’ll find it there. Nothing beats relaxing on the water enjoying some good food and cocktails.
If you’re into the beach scene and you don’t want to go the distance of getting out to the Hamptons, there are many other local and state beaches on the island. You can quickly take a 50 minute train ride out to Long Beach and you’ll be consumed by a beautiful beach community. You’ll almost feel like you’re in California.
Beaches, Bars, Cafes And More
If you just walked down to the end of any block heading south, you’ll land at the beach. There are tons of great surfing, beach volleyball, and just good old beach activities. After the day at the beach there’s an unlimited number of restaurants, bars, cafes that you can feed your face and enjoy some drinks to kick back.
It’s a nice quick ride from Penn Station where you can make it a really nice day trip for yourself and the family or friends. Long Beach in the summer has a great feel to it. You’ll forget that you’re on Long Island for a moment and you’ll get lost in the beach scene.
